Ice Skating Instructions

Hello! I’m going to tell you a bit about Figure Skating.

You will need:

1. Figure skates

2. Gloves

3. Thin tights/socks

4. A suitable outfit

5. A grown-up that knows how to skate (This only stands if you don’t know how to skate)

6. An ice-skating rink

Now let’s begin!

If you are unfamiliar with skating, just remember these tips.

1. 1. If you fall and there is no one to help you, get on your knees and stand up, one leg at a tine.

2. 2. If you need to hold on to the side, carefully make your way over to the edge.

Now if you already know how to skate but are still unfamiliar with a few things, this is what you need to read.

1. 1. Watch out for very good skaters that may be skating really fast or might be practicing for competitions.

2. 2. If there are fast skaters watch out for them because they might knock you over when skating past or they might scare you by coming up from behind you.

For really good skaters you may want to read these tips four your safety and safety of others.

1. 1. Watch out for other skaters if you are doing very advanced stunts.

2. 2. If there are some skaters near you with unsure expressions on their faces then you can go and help them.
